“In Bloom celebrates the cycles of womanhood and femininity, from weeks, over a single lifespan, and to multiple generations. It also represents the visual and metaphoric comparisons to flowers and spring that are so often used in poetry and art when referring to the female body and womanly sexuality. Both the floral and figural elements of the print grow, bloom, and wither in beautiful patterns demonstrating mortality, impermanence, and the unique growth of an individual.
