I wanted to upcycle an old hoodie as I’ve done before, using recycled denim, but turned it up a notch this time. I replaced one arm with a leg from stretchy jeans and covered the whole back with various patches of denim – all hand-sewn together making this asmmetric Frankenstein of a hoodie. The hoodie itself is toned slightly using tie-dye technique with some textile marker art and band patches added later for finishing touches. On the photos I also wear a pair of “ruined” jeans I splattered with bleach to create this camouflage-like pattern.
